*Jug Cost 1/2 Gallon - $1.00 per jug 1 Gallon - $1.50 per jug
*Pricing for jugs or press cost may vary from year to year based on cost of operation and goods. * If you have 2 or less get with a friend and combine your apples or purchase more apples on Facebook. * We cannot take cut up apples in garbage bags or buckets. If it can not fit in one of our containers we can not juice it. The holes in our containers are about a golf ball size. Cut up apples clog up the conveyor and makes a slimy mess on the floor. * We Do Not take core rotted apples, apples with surface worm holes are fine. we have a knife to cut out worm holes if there are few. Please do not core out tons of apples on site as this will slow down operation.
Process Flow
Step 1 - Unload apples, Drive through the gate on the north side of the property to unload your apples. Once Unloaded, Please backup the vehicle and park in front of the garage or out on the street so others can unload their apples. If you have more than 40+ boxes you can pull forward behind the pavilion so others can pull up behind you.
Step 2 - Load apples into the bushel baskets and spray down apples. Please fill the bushel baskets flush with the top of the basket and not overflowing. Please spray away from the pavilion.
Step 3 - We will then count how many bushel you have and record the amount. We price by the half bushel so you could have 20.5 bushel.
Step 4 - We will run your apples through the grinder, press and fill the tank for you to fill your jugs. Some customers like their apples to mix in the tank before filling jugs. To some degree that is fine but we have to keep up with traffic so we may tell you to start filling jugs. If you want a good mix intermix the bushel baskets of different apples on the rollers.
Step 5 - Fill your Jugs. We offer jugs you can buy if you like. Typically people will freeze their juice so when you fill the jugs, turn off the spigot right before the curve at the top of the jug to allow the juice to stop flowing and allow for expansion. We can show you if you need.
Step 6 - Load containers back into vehicle and count the jugs you used. We will help verify count of half gallons and gallons used. We have a hand cart for you to use if needed.
Step 7 - Pay for the bushels pressed and the jugs used. You can pay by Venmo, Check or Cash.
